Dental4Web Recommended Setup for New Customers

If transferring from another dental management system, outstanding balances and credit records need to be manually entered in D4Web.

Balance of Account

  1. Click the navigation menu > Patients > Treatment page (for relevant patient)

    1. Provider: Select the relevant Provider

    2. Date: Enter the date the invoice was created in another system, or a past day (e.g. yesterday's date)

    3. Item: Enter 997

    4. Fee: Enter the outstanding balance

  2. Itemised Invoices toolbar > New Invoice only / Press F2 on keyboard

    1. Click CREATE

Deposits/Credits

  1. Click the navigation menu > Patients > Receipts page (for relevant patient)

  2. Receipts toolbar > New Receipts

    1. Date: Enter the date the deposit was originally received, or a past day (e.g. yesterday's date)

    2. Amount: Enter the amount sitting in credit for this patient

    3. Payment Type: Select Others, this will not impact reports or banking

    4. Provider: Select the Provider this deposit to be allocated to

    5. Click CREATE

Fast Notes

Fast notes are used as quick templates when writing notes against patients' files, during chat (not available in d4Web yet) and against debtors.

Setup Fast Notes

 

Letter Templates

It is recommended all commonly used letter templates are setup prior to going live, e.g. Work Certificate.

Create a New Letter Template

 

Treatment Plan Disclaimer / Statement / Message

Below messages will appear on every patient's Treatment Plan.

  1. Treatment Plan Disclaimer

  2. Treatment Plan Message

  3. Treatment Plan Statement

Add Treatment Plan Disclaimer, Message and/or Statement

Add New Referrals

 

Appointment Classes (Appointment colours)

Setup Appointment Classes
