Teeth Notation in Charting

In this article you will find the following:

    When using Charting, the numbering of the patient's teeth can be changed.

    1. Click the navigation menu > Location Setup > General page

    2. Group: Charting

    3. Teeth Notation in Charting

      1. FDI: The tooth number is displayed using FDI World Dental Federation notation system (default setting) or the Fédération Dentaire Internationale mceclip1.png

      2. Descriptive: The tooth number is displayed with the quadrant of the mouth and number of the toothmceclip2.png

      3. Universal - USA: The tooth number is displayed using the tooth 1 - 32 system
