What features do i use for KPI-01 Report accuracy?


The following features are required for the KPI-01 Report to calculate correctly.

  1. Appointment Statuses:

    1. For this report to calculate some KPI's, Failed to Attend, Unable to Attend and Arrived/Checked In/Out data must be recorded. Ensure each are setup
      Setup Fail to Attend (FTA)
      Setup Unable to Attend (UTA)
      Link Marking Patient as Arrived to a Status
  2. Arrived, Checked-in and Checked-Out:

    1. For the report to calculate exactly how long each visit was, and when the appointments ran longer than planned time, this feature must be used
      Mark an Appointment as Arrived, Checked In or Out
  3. Link Providers and Books:

    1. For the report to know which book belongs to which Provider, it must be set against the Providers file

  4. Set Work Time:

    1. When adding a Break or creating a new Preset Slot, the Work Time must be selected correctly, for example Staff Meeting = Yes, Leaving Early = No
  5. Non-Treatment and Reporting Items:

    1. Not all item numbers are treatment and therefore should be setup so when they are used on a patient the report doesn’t think the patient has been seen on that day. For example, a new patient fails to attend and an the FTA item is added to their treatment. If the FTA item is not marked as non-treatment, the report will calculate them as a new patient

  6. Treatment within a Plan:

    1. Some item numbers are seen as not requiring planning and can be excluded from the section of the report that identifies the quantity of treatment items performed without a treatment plan

  7. Mark Bad Debts:

    1. Bad Debts should be marked as such to ensure they are calculated correctly

  8. Classify Item Numbers:

    1. Items can be classified/grouped and be reported on as a group in the report

  9. Report, Graph, Fee Level and Insurance Fund Settings:

    The report can be viewed as both a report (figure) and graph, and the indicators to include can be preset. 

    1. Click the navigation menu > Management > Reports page

    2. Group: Business Intelligence Module

    3. Open KPI-01 Report

      1. Report Settings: Select the indicators to view in report format

      2. Graph Settings: Select the indicators to view in graph format

      3. Fee Levels Set: Select the Fee Levels to include in the report

      4. Ins Fund Set: Select the Insurance Funds to include in the report

  10. Set the Budget: 

    Setting a Budget is optional and only shown when selected in the report parameters. 

    1. Click the navigation menu > Management > Reports page

    2. Group: Business Intelligence Module

    3. Open KPI-01 Report

      1. Report Type: Budget

      2. Click Set Budget

      3. Financial Year: Select the year to set the budget for

      4. Enter the target for each month

      5. Click OK
