Send SMS on Patient Check out

The patient will receive an SMS when they are marked as Checked Out in the Appointment Book. Practices can insert their feedback survey link in the SMS to request a feedback from the patient.

This feature is only available for those set up with SMS capabilities. Pre-requisites for Setting up SMS in D4Web

Setup

  1. Click the navigation menu > Location Setup > General page

  2. Group: SMS Settings 

    1. Select Yes for Send SMS on Patient Check Out

  3. Click the navigation menu > Debtors & Marketing > Mail Merge Setup page

  4. Mail Merge Category: Appointments 

    1. Highlight Appointment CheckOut

    2. Click the edit icon to create the template

      1. Next, Setup the Appointment Check Out SMS template

Send SMS 

  1. Right click appointment > Click Checked Out

  2. Click Yes to the message

  3. Check the SMS, click Send
